Privacy and cookies.

What this site collects, why, and how you control it. We keep it short because we collect very little.

Who we are

This site belongs to Omni Web Marketing (“Omni Web”, “we”), a web design and development studio in North Wales. We decide how your data on this site is used, which makes us the controller under UK data protection law. For anything on this page, email hello@omni-web.marketing.

When you contact us

The contact form asks for your name, email address and a message. We use them to reply to your enquiry and, if you go ahead, to quote for and deliver the work. Our legal basis is taking steps at your request before a contract, and our legitimate interest in answering the people who write to us.

The form sends your details to our inbox by email and sends you a confirmation. It does not store them in a database. We keep an enquiry for as long as we need it to deal with you and, if you become a client, for the length of our work together. Ask us to delete yours at any time.

Analytics cookies

With your permission, we use Google Analytics to see which pages people visit, how they arrive, and which parts of a page help. It records things like the pages you view, your device and browser, and your approximate location. It does not tell us who you are.

Google Analytics loads only after you choose Accept in the cookie banner. If you choose Reject, or make no choice, it never loads and sets no cookies. You can change your answer at any time with “Cookie settings” in the footer. Withdrawing consent removes the Analytics cookies from your browser.

We remember your cookie choice in your browser’s local storage under the name ow-consent. That is not a cookie and is never sent to us. It stays until you clear your browser data.

Who else handles your data

We use a small number of providers to run the site. Each handles your data only to provide its service to us:

  • Vercel hosts the site. Like any web host, its servers log basic request details such as your IP address to deliver pages and keep the site secure.
  • Resend delivers the emails the contact form sends.
  • Google provides Analytics, only if you accept it.

Some of these providers process data in the United States. Where they do, the transfer relies on the UK’s approved safeguards for international transfers. We never sell your data or use it for advertising.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of the data we hold about you, and ask us to correct it, delete it, limit how we use it, or stop using it. You can also ask for it in a format you can take elsewhere. Email hello@omni-web.marketing and we will reply within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk. We would like the chance to put it right first.

Changes

If we change how the site uses your data, we will update this page and the date at the top.
